The UCD Kaplan (Singapore) scholarship is offered to Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree graduates from non-China countries who have achieved academic excellence in their Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree programme(s) in their respective countries. The scholarship aims to support their undergraduate or postgraduate studies with University College Dublin (UCD) at Kaplan Higher Education Academy (KHEA) in Singapore.

The scholarship is dedicated to David Tan, an advocate for lifelong learning who expanded Kaplan’s presence into the Asia-Pacific region. This scholarship is offered to senior high school graduates from China, Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam, who have achieved academic success in their national high school exam results, with the aim to support their undergraduate studies at Kaplan Higher Education Academy (KHEA) in Singapore.

The scholarship is offered to senior high school graduates who have achieved academic success in their national high school exam results, with the aim to support their undergraduate studies with Kaplan Higher Education Academy (KHEA) in Singapore. This scholarship covers only the programme fees for the Kaplan Diploma in Professional Business English, full-time Kaplan Foundation Diploma, and the full-time Kaplan Diploma programmes.

To apply for the scholarship, the applicant must submit an essay of not more than 300 words, together with their application for the Kaplan Merit Scholarship 2025 to their in-country manager or agent. The applicant may choose one of the following topics for the essay submission:
